When looking for inspiration for design, especially for projects, I often look at these blogs.
This blog shows some very nice videos of an add that psyop made for addidas. I really enjoy the use of colour for this add, and the idea of the human landscape is so rad.

This image was used for my fourth experiment in my Design 111 paper at Victoria University.

The objective of this experiment was to create an abstract fluid form of any material. I emphasised the "fluid" and created my wire frame with a surface of water clutching its edges to the inner perimeter of the frame.

Though the real beauty of this model is the curve the bubble forms. The form of the surface that the fluid forms depends on its own weight and the spread of the frame.

I chose to go in this direction with this project because the look of something opaque or transparent always seems to catch my eye. The way the light reflects off the fluid looks very nice also and works in well with the black wire frame.

During the process of designing and making this model, when I reached the stage where I was dipping my wire frame into my bubble solution it started to occur to me that the model had characteristics about it.

It felt to me that it didn't want to be photographed because, every time I had placed my camera in the right spot and focused the shot, the bubble would have already popped. It took an eternity, truckloads of frustration and lots of cursing before I got a half decent photograph.

Although in the end I was pleased with how well my experiment turned out and even better I was happy with the marks I got back.
